Wonder Woman Concept

Needed a warm-up this morning so knocked out a Wonder Woman concept. There's more to being a warrior than fighting and I dont think a woman has to be a brutal killer to show that shes strong. I think most of the Amazon stories about being cruel were written by men who were scared out of their minds about a culture ran by females.

Im having surgery in the next couple of weeks and need to raise funds to help pay for it. Im already a few hundred in with tests so I need to get the ball rolling by offering this:

Ghostrider color study

Ghostrider has always been very fun visually. Want to play more with light and color to become stronger in those areas. Did this in about 5-10 minutes.

Id like to move into more concept work one day. That and storyboards.

Mixed Tape Film Series 11-12 season

Ive been rather lax on posting these, so Im dropping all the posters Ive done for the current season of Joe Scott's Mixed Tape Film Series.

Hello all you happy people.

Here's something of an example of how I do these cartoons paintings.

Make a new 8x10 RGB file. I use a rolled rag brush to make a background.

Then I rough in the character on a new layer.

Next I make another layer above the rough and add some color, thinking about the highlights and shadows.

Finally I clean up the edges some of the rough and merge those two layers. Then its just a matter of filling it in. I scaled him down to make him look smaller and adjusted the background. Added the linear light texture layer and call it done.
