Up close Magic

Caught up on work just in time to get ready for Free Comic Book Day!

Sketching in public for me is more like up close street magic. It's a trick to turn a blank piece of paper into a cartoon in what looks like a few short minutes. Apparently back in the day, cartoonists did tour the vaudeville circuits. Creator of Little Nemo, Windsor McKay made a good living doing that for years.

Anyway, I've been posting my sketchbook a lot lately but here's the most recent. Be sure to follow me on twitter @t_boatwright or my facebook page www.facebook.com/BoatwrightArtwork to see all my illusions.
